Choose from half-day preschool or full-day preschool with daycare.

A half-day preschool program offered September through May, designed to give children an enriched early learning experience.

Preschool + Daycare
7:00am-6:00pm • Year-round
A full-day, year-round program that combines preschool learning with extended care for families who need a longer day. Summer session available.

Arts and crafts, science, dramatic play, music and movement.

Early Learning
Literature, math concepts, alphabet and numeral recognition, and pre-reading activities.

Faith & Social Growth
Bible stories, circle time, social interaction, free choice, and learning through play.

Outdoor Play & Gardening
Hands-on exploration, planting and harvesting, and enjoying what they grow while learning about nature and healthy nutrition.

Meals & Snacks
Morning and afternoon snacks provided by HHP, with lunches provided by families.

Age-appropriate outings with hands-on learning, school bus transportation, and chaperone opportunities.

To help the children learn to sit quietly and attentively for a short period of time during Bible story and story time.
To listen when instructions are being given and to carry out 2-3 part commands.
To build language skills by increasing vocabulary and sentence length.
To begin to learn to cooperate in a group situation and learn to share and take turns.
To increase basic color and shape recognition.
To develop large and small motor skills, especially through play.
To encourage independence and self help skills. Begin toilet training.
To begin problem solving.

C3 Lovable Ladybugs, C4 Fabulous Frogs
To recognize and name basic colors, shapes, some letters and numbers, and his or her own name.
To master simple tasks: putting on a coat or sweater; buttoning large buttons and zipping; pouring.
To complete simple multi-part puzzles.
To take responsibility to care for own belongings.
To use appropriate social responses, i.e.: please and thank you, raises hand.
To control/express emotions in acceptable ways.
To increase self-help skills: washing hands, blowing nose, putting shoes on, putting belongings away, cleaning up.

To recognize name, letters and beginning sounds, colors and shapes.
To master simple tasks: putting on a coat or sweater; buttoning large buttons and zipping; cutting with scissors; holding a pencil correctly.
To be able to copy a circle, square, triangle, diamond, cross and x.
To be able to draw a simple man.
To print first name and last initial using upper and lower case letters, eg: Jean Y.
To write numbers 1 through 10.
To know address and telephone number.
To recognize likes and preferences; differences; opposites.

The ideal ratios we strive to maintain are:
1:6 in our 2’s classes
1:7 in our 3’s classes
1:8 in our 4’s classes
State licensing requires a 1:12 ratio.

Children are grouped according to age as of September 1. Age ranges may sometimes be adjusted in order for classrooms to maintain proper numbers and ratios, per state licensing regulations.

Children transition to a new class each fall when the new school year begins.
