Steps to Enroll

Enrollment for all programs takes place in March and may extend beyond that date, providing space is available. Families are encouraged to begin the process early, as program availability may vary by age group and schedule.

A virtual informational tour is required prior to enrolling your child and is offered by appointment during tour season.

  • Request a Virtual Tour

    Families interested in enrolling for a future program are encouraged to contact HHP beginning in October to schedule a virtual tour. Tour spaces are limited and age-specific. Request a tour below.

  • Attend Your Tour

    Virtual informational tours are offered by appointment only in January and February. After tour attendance has been completed, families will receive an invitation to take part in our March lottery.

  • Register

    New families register in March after lottery results. All new students begin in September.

Current & Returning Families

Priority registration for current and returning families takes place in February. Instructions are emailed in early February to eligible families who are currently attending.

Returning families enrolling a new sibling do not need to tour again and may register in February along with currently attending families. Please notify the Happiness Hill office by January 30 if you plan to enroll a new sibling.

FAQs

  • Requesting a virtual tour is the first step in the enrollment process, followed by the lottery. Once you have secured a spot through the lottery process, you will then complete the registration for Fall enrollment.

  • A tour is required before enrolling or taking part in the lottery. A virtual informational tour helps families get a better feel for Happiness Hill, and provides an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the preschool before moving forward with the lottery process. It also gives the HHP team a chance to share the most relevant program and classroom information for your child.

    1. Families must schedule and attend a virtual informational tour before the registration date in order to take part.

    2. Receive an invitation via email for the lottery.

    3. Apply through the link provided and follow instructions.

    4. Get your lottery results within the week!*

  • HHP does not enroll new students mid-year, except for students placed on the waitlist during Spring registration after the lottery. As space becomes available, students on the waitlist may continue to be added through January.

  • We consider a child fully potty trained when they have gone two consecutive weeks without any accidents and are able to independently communicate to a teacher when they need to use the restroom, without being prompted or reminded. View our Potty Training Guidelines.

Virtual tours will be scheduled by appointment on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday morning between October 1 - February 28 at 10:00am. Space is limited. Please note: Attending a tour is required prior to enrolling your child.
